Our current work in the Labuan Bajo seascape combines coral restoration, reef monitoring, kayak- and snorkel-based interpretation, and community guide development so that conservation outcomes and local opportunity grow together.

Our front-page model project is the Hanita coral restoration initiative in the Labuan Bajo area. It brings together reef rehabilitation, monitoring, kayak- and snorkel-based interpretation, and community guide development.
From restored reef to community stewardship model: The Hanita initiative is designed as more than a restoration site. It is a living demonstration of how a recovering marine ecosystem can be protected through better monitoring, stronger local capability, and visitor experiences built around care rather than extraction.
